Day 6 and 7

The weekend was very eventful. On Saturday we woke up earlier and went to Madrid by bus. There we walked through the city, visiting some of the most famous attractions along the way. We visited the museum of football, named Legends: Home of Football. We saw the cathedral, named La Almudena, the Palacio Real and much more. After a long day, we took some rest in the park El Retiro and finally we visited the Prado museum. We took the local bus from the museum to the bus station from where we had the coach back and returned to Salamanca shortly after midnight. We dedicated the majority of Sunday to rest. We slept-in, ate lunch and went straight for a (unnaturally long) siesta. In the evening we went for a short walk to stretch our legs.

Večino našega prvega dne smo preživeli na poti. Naš drugi dan pa se je začel ob 8.30, ko smo se vsi skupaj dobili pred šolo. Sledila je predstavitev programa in razdelitev v skupine. Ob 9.00 smo začeli s poukom slovnice in nato nadaljevali s komunikacijo v španščini. Po manjšem premoru smo nadaljevali s poukom, ki je temeljil zgolj na turizmu. V popoldanskih urah pa smo se skupaj udeležili vodenega ogleda po Salamanci, kjer smo si ogledali znamenitosti mesta.

Day 2, 27.5.2025

The day started at 8 o'clock with a nice breakfast. After that we headed to school, where we started classes at 9 o'clock. During the first lesson we repeated what we learned yesterday and learned some new prepositions. In the second class we talked about trips to our home towns, or in our cases to Slovenia, and we talked about the sights and traditional foods together with the Chinese students in the class and in the second part of the lesson we got to know each other a bit by asking some questions to each other.

Day 4, 29.5. 2025

Just like every other day we woke up at 8 a.m. and had breakfast. After that we got ready and went to school. Today was the exam day, and the Chinese students in our class took and exam to advance to a higher level. We also took the exam, but for us it was just as an exercise. We took the exam in both grammar and communication classes. In the tourist class we described a hotel according to certain criteria that were written in the book.
